NFL Network Blog on UCONN Pro Day: http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/03/25/rb-brown...n-pro-day/

Proday had 21 teams including Bill Belichick and A.J. Smith, GM of the Chargers among many others. Super agent Drew Rosenhaus was there hoping to pick up a client or two.

Here is a quick summary:

UCONN's pro day was bigger day than pro day at Austin, Texas.

There could be as many as 4 UCONN players taken in the 1st 2 rounds of NFL draft. Remember UCONN's recruiting class was like #79 or something ranked by Scout or Rivals.

Donald Brown is pushing Moreno as the #1 back in the draft.

Darius Butler ran 4.3 40 (faster than combine) and has elevated his draft status to challenge Jenkins and Davis.

William Beatty could be a steal as a OT.

Tyler Lorenzen worked out at WR and DB LOL.

You guys know how much I hate the recruiting rating bias by Rivals and Scout. Here is the living proof. There are a ton talent at UCONN that no one ever give them credit for. Either way, it is a great day for an up and coming program. Edsall is just awesome at identifying talent.

I just hope 49ers would pick up a Husky.
I'm not saying it that UT's pro day was bigger, however, we had scouts from every single NFL team minus the Raiders, Cowboys, and the Texans staying at my hotel the last 2 nights here in Austin. I would assume the Cowboys and Texans would just drive in that day only being 2 1/2 hours from austin.

NFL network is the one that said it, not me.
I'm not disagree with you but the NFL network might be wrong. There were a total of 60 scouts at the Texas Pro Day today. Either way, congrats to your program for having such high quality players.
