BOTTOM 10

Rank Team 2003 Rec. Comment

1. Buffalo 1-11 After finishing second in 2002 and sixth in 2003, look for the Bulls to charge to the top in 2004.

2. Army 0-13 Bobby Ross hopes to rekindle the glory days of Army, but he inherits a team that was outscored 476-206 last year.

3. Louisiana Monroe 1-11 If you can't replace the players, try the coaches. Charlie Weatherbie did just that, adding five new coaches, including Army reject Todd Berry.

4. SMU 0-12 If Mark Cuban bought the Ponies ... Wait, that's what got them in this predicament in the first place.

5. NCAA 0-1 No brand equity here. The NCAA shuts down Jeremy Bloom's shot at marketing his skills. Wonder if Mike Williams is nervous?

6. San Jose State 3-8 You can guarantee that ADs looking for a win know the way to San Jose.

7. Illinois 1-11 Have you seen the size of the Illini's media guide (think spiral Palm Pilot)? Are they saving money for Ron Turner's buyout?

8. Temple 1-11 When the Owls drop out of the Big East after this year, will anyone besides Bill Cosby even notice?

9. Idaho 3-9 If the Vandals finish last in their final season in the Sun Belt, will the WAC still want them?

10. Eastern Michigan 3-8 What's tougher: turning around the Eagles, who have one winning season in 15 years, or spelling Ypsilanti.

Oh look... it's Baylor!!

Waiting list: Baylor (3-9) , East Carolina (1-11), Iowa State (2-10), North Carolina (2-10), Ohio (2-10), UTEP (2-11). Also back by popular demand is Wyoming's uniforms.
they were pretty pissed about that.
I can understand their distaste for it... but is it wrong? I mean ...I think in the past 5 years, they've had a total of like 10 or 11 wins. Not too stellar, and they could be in danger of another poor season ahead.
UTEP and SMU made the list :(
I see UTEP improving in the next few years. SMU may never recover from the NCAA

That's not good. They'll bring down the overall quality of C-USA.

Are you serious? That's pretty sad.

If SMU can win some games and get some national TV exposure, they will be fine. Their campus is awesome, lots of beautiful girls whose daddys are CEO's. I would go there if I was an athlete.llllll
I second what zlcuab said.

SMU girls are amazing....you just have to compete with Daddy to get to them.
