He should be on the next roster. He is still waiting on the NCAA to tell him if he has 3 to get 3 or 4 for 3. If 4 he will redshirt. If 3 he is kind of screwed this season and will be lucky to dress. They will try to work him in on special teams as the season progresses if he is not red shirted. He will then be kind of like a JUCO next season and will have a shot at some PT next year.

who is the mystery QB #2...who is he? all I know is that he is a transfer

I ran a google search on mike syrios and found one that played quarterback at Pope H.S. in Cobb County, GA.

He signed with Newberry College (a D2 or D1-AA school in South Carolina) out of high school. From his high school website, he threw for over 1,500 yards as a senior, but he had more interceptions than touchdowns.
