Did Rutgers put a total in your face, slap you around big time, make you like it full bore beatdown on the AU women last night?

I thought they may make a run at the Final Four, maybe even a showdown in the title game with UConn.......but, man alive, talk about going into a gunfight with only a knife.

Whew !!!!!

Well, it was on Rutger's home floor. Got to be very tough to beat a seasoned Rutger's squad on the road. Not fair.
Look how well the C-USA teams played against Memphis in their FED-EX Forum during the season and the MIT. Does the NCAA allow such a venue in the Men's Tournament? It may just be an official way to show how little regard the NCAA has for the Women's BB Tournament. Of course we may just see the Final Four played at the "Dean Dome" next year.

Villanova played their first and second round games of the tournament in the Wachovia Center, where they play several regular season games a year. I don't think this is quite as bad as Rutgers playing in their own gym (not sure if it was on their campus or not, since I don't follow women's basketball), but it surely gives one team an unfair advantage. I feel like there is another men's team in the tourney this year that has been playing on their home floor, but I can't think of who.
Attempts to reach Imus for comment were unsuccessful.

Duke and UNC both played their first round games in Greensboro, practically a home game for each.
They always play their early games somewhere in the Carolinas it seems.
Michigan state the 9 seed got to play at there arena against 2 seed duke last night. Wouldn't be so bad of a 9 seed if the games were home games

Every other sport in DI with a tournament (other than men's BB, that is) has early rounds at campus sites. Usually gives your beloved Bammers an advantage in gymnastics.
