I believe that it is a gimmick to get the dome rolling. UAT and their fans have been wanting out for years. It wouldn't surprise me if there wasn't some "scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" deal cut.

I'd like to see the ball rolling on a campus stadium for UAB, but no dome!!
