We turned down the CIT early on because we saw the quality of teams in the tourney and decided the CBI would be where we would go if we didn't get into the NIT. We wouldn't make any commitments to the CBI because we were still hopeful of an NIT bid. The CBI calls us tonight and says your going to Wyoming, take it or leave it. Plane tickets, hotel, etc. on one days notice to Wyoming would cost well over $10,000. Maybe there is an entrance fee on top of that. We decided we couldn't afford it. Taking it a step further, maybe we were originally told we would likely be going to Ole Miss, but for whatever reason they backed out. So instead of an easy, inexpensive bus trip we're looking at a trip across the country.

Probably this is pure fantasy, but I have to try to come up with some sensible reason for our present situation.
It's as sensible as I can think of. If that's or something similar is the case, then it would behoove UALR to explain this to us.

Might be fantasy. Maybe not. In any event we deserve a straight answer.
