Couldn't be happier for the guy. This is what happens when you are relentless, relentless cuts to the hoops, relentlessly attacking the boards on both ends and they contest just about everything on the defensive end. Here's the kicker IMO, they've been doing it all season without their starting point guard. He will come in handy next season for them.
Congrats to the kids from W.Va. - they are playing good basketball.

They played great. Amazing hustle and relentless rebounding and attacking the glass.
Makes you miss the gold ole days. It was just like watching a UC team of the 90s. Hopefully one day Mick...

I hear you. Hopefully next season I can be as excited watching UC win meaningful games. The BEast tourney is something to watch, everyone plays with such emotion. I'm just glad that Bob went home so I can see him coach in the toughest conference in the country and all the naysayers saying he only won so much because he coached in crappy conferences can no longer say it. I already see him starting to get his due as a great coach, one of those announcers tonight mentioned how many wins he had and actually brought up the HOF...lol...I bet that pissed some people off.

Let's get something straight.

Maybe one or two posters on BB can't stand Huggins and don't want him to succeed, but the rest of us are grateful to have had him as a coach, and consider him one of the best.

Name names. Who are "all" these naysayers who say he only won because he coached in crappy conferences? As far as posters go, I can only think of those one or two who might say such a thing. The other 99.5% would never make that statement, let alone think it.

Some people may have missed it, but Bob got his due as a great coach some time ago. Anytime a Huggs game is televised, the announcers mention his win numbers and win percentages. I guess some people have the sound turned off and just haven't heard it until today.

I get so sick of the Us-Huggs-guys against the world attitude coming from a few posters on here. We are all Huggs guys!

I am living proof that a UC and Bob Huggins fan can appreciate and respect Huggs as a coach, but also recognize that he was responible for the several situations that when combined led to an ill timed termination. That doesn't mean I'm not a Huggs fan.

Some of us have been able to move on. Some cannot, and apparently never will.

What in the heck are you talking about? I am not talking about ANYONE on Banter, I am speaking of all the idiots throughout the years that I and every UC fan had to deal with. Be it at work / family / internet. Why is it...lol..that EVERYTIME someone mentions Bob or Mick that it comes to that Dan? We've spoke Dan, you know how I feel both towards UC/Mick/Bob etc. You took for granted that I was talking about posters in here. I will say this now on the record for future reference, UNLESS I say someones name in here in regards to Bob then I am not talking about anyone in here. What a trip. Come on.

As Dick Enberg would say....................."Oh my!!"

Bingo what Rath? Look at my post before this. I hope it doesn't confuse you again, seriously. I was talking about everyone in the country, lord god....we all dealt with it. I hope you know where I am coming from now, I don't think I can be any plainer. Just ask Keith over on the forum....and Jon Breiner who "recruited" me so too speak to come over to the UC boards. Every week, every game I was doing battles with idiots that didn't want to hear facts on usenet, it was easier and funner to agree with the perception of UC....both in hoops and football.

Bingo what OneUC stated and what Sub seconded. Easy to follow when they are all chronological n' sh!t.
I don't think he knows what I said. Pretty sure he has me ignored.
Well, Tonyy and Chuckk, I think you are both exactly in line with Dann.
