Take this for what its worth.

My dad was sitting behind UC bench today and a person from the Seton Hall athletic department told him we would not be in the NIT. I dont know if that is his opinion or factual or what. I know its hard to be fact now but well see.

Again, believe me or not, believe him or not
Most here don't believe we will.
Honestly, they don't deserve it the way they've played down the stretch. Give a bid to a team that plays hard and cares about the game.
NIT fever - catch it!
I didn't think we would be in, but I think we will be now. Considering how weak the bubble teams were for the NCAAs, I think the NIT would rather have a school like Cincy that finished 9th in the BE over a school like Wright State, etc. Dan Hoard was on the radio this morning talking about the website http://www.nitology.com, who is a NIT bracketologist. They have UC as a 7 seed (Out of 8).

Here are the teams not in:

washington st., green bay, seton hall, utep, miami (oh), nevada, duquesne, nc state, ark little rock, northeastern, stanford, wright st., evansville, houston, fairfield, vermont, bradley, buffalo, alabama, boise st., saint joseph's, charleston, hofstra, old dominion, wyoming, la salle, iowa, mount st. mary's, portland, akron, oakland, vmi

Maybe I could argue for a couple over UC, but not many. Plus if you look at the season long resume, none compare.
That bracket does not include the 5-10 mid major teams that did not win their conference tournament but are guaranteed a spot in the NIT because they won their conference. I did not see a MAC team in that bracket of 32...we might get into the NIT but it will be very close.
