Hey everyone

I am in the process of buying a new dog pound and need to get rid of the old one. Its a 1972 winnebego that has issues running (carberator?) The fridge will run once the small LP leak is fixed. The generator runs great and I think the AC worked last time I checked. The reason I am looking to get a new model is the roof is in DIRE need of repair. I am not looking for any money, just someone to come pick her up and take her home.

If anyone is interested please PM me

TY
I thought HMM was taking it and fixing it?
He wanted to hang a disco ball in it..I said no
Victory Auto Wreckers sounds like an appropriate new home. Those old Winnebagos eventually come to the end of life and are worth more in scrap.
I will still take it and strip it down for parts for the sprinter.
Took over possession of the Pound today. I was considering scrapping it, but just can't do it. It will be tailgating on the East side this year!!! Yes biggs, the room is in DIRE need of repair!!! I can't believe that it has not collapsed.

I got to working on it tonight and removed a bunch of the roof. I am shocked no mold had formed in the ceiling. I removed the air conditioner and suffered a nice gash on my head in doing so. A new plywood roof will be in place tomorrow. Hopefully the wood painted with several coats of oil based paint and siliconized caulk in the seams will hold up to the weather.

The nice thing about the engine is that it will be SO easy to work on. You literally pull the cover off it inside and you have total access to it. So much easier than the Bus and Mobile!

The aluminum body is so nice too! God I hate rust!
nice!
God your neighbors must love you. A Van, Bus and now RV. Your place will be looking like Stanford and Sons before long.

New roof has been installed and sealed. First coat of paint went on as well. So far so good. 02-13-banana

You should rent them out for parties. If you ever get married(doubtful), it would be similar to the movie "Bachelor Party"/.
You should include pictures of the restoration along the way so we can all see the transformation..........

He did that with the original van at http://www.huskiemobile.com but he has gotten lazy and let the website go to pot.05-stirthepot

I wish I could, but I can't. I really don't have the time. I can take the pictures, but I don't have the time or patience to sit down and add them to my website.

Yes I did this for the Bus, Mobile, first house I fixed up, but just don't have time for it anymore, but when I complete a project I wish I had taken pictures. Maybe biggs has some pictures?

Sounds like a productive day "working from home"
I think Huskiemobileman is entering a new line of business. In this down and out economy he sees market opportunity. Contact HMM to purchase your very own NIU-adorned "Van Down by the River" living quarters !!!

Oh I worked, and it was from home!
It was quite a sight to see yesterday, the Huskie Bus, Huskie Mobile and Dog Pound all lined up in front of one of my rental properties! 02-13-banana

Several neighbors stopped by to talk and nobody seemed to mind... although most the houses/buildings around mine are either forclosed, for sale, or a school.
