Does anyone know why Mitchell hasn't played at all today?

Maybe he was showing some effort and determination, and the other players took a vote to make him sit.
Lance says on his blog that Mitchell was suspended for violation of team rules. Anyone know truth?

Now I am curious. The Enquirer says he was out sick and I've heard nothing of suspension, except for what Lance put on his blog. I hope we didn't jump on this early and convict a guy that was not guilty. If he was not suspended, I'd be fine with him coming back I suppose. But if he was suspended, I hope he is done.
Others are reporting that he was suspended as well, BigDawg. He certainly didn't look sick during a timeout late in the game. Also, Dan Hoard alluded to more behavioral issues in his latest post on GoBearcats.com.
I saw him last night and he sure seemed less lively than normal.. but it also could be because he got in trouble with the team, but without asking him, his actions last night compared to other times I have seen him recently would make me think he was sick... the problem is.. most people when sick would have at least still dressed.. and if they don't dress they must be really sick and would have stayed at the hotel to get rest..
I think that Cronin's comments to Koch about Mitchell closes the door on whether he was sick or not. I think Mitchell is gone.

The thing that bothers me, why would he be classified as being sick in the first place if he was suspended? Kick his ass off the team, he's nothing but a headache.

Mick clarified that he was sick, but that wasn't all of the issues and that he was going to talk to Alvin to evaluate his place in the program, like he will do with every player. I'm guessing Alvin will be gone.
