Blazer fans need some good recruiting news.

Quote:Dexter Fields, a 6-foot-2 senior signed by UAB, led all scorers with 31 points and sparked Olympia's early barrage. He had 17 at the half. The Titans knocked down five 3-point shots in the first six minutes to go ahead 18-6.

Sweet.
Yes. We need a shooter.
I'm looking forward to seeing these two play.
He had over half of his team's points.

You haven't been to practice and watched Elijah Millsap shoot. The kid can fill it up. We can always use more scoring threats, of course.
I am really hoping that April brings news of a couple of big guys (6'10" or 6'11") guys that are just beast in the low post. To run Mike Davis's style of offense, you need some big guys that can really play the post position.

Apparently we are close to getting a good big guy from Oak Hill named Glen Bryant. He reportedly was visiting yesterday and is between us and Marquette. From the highlight clips I've seen of him he's a high energy big guy. If you've seen Pittsburgh play, he reminds me of a smaller version of Dejuan Blair.
Anyone from Oak Hill Academy is going to be pretty good.
Sweet!!!! Green kool-aid all around!
The Oak Hill young man sat a few seats down from me yesterday.
