i still have a problem with uab not even being on the last out list. put uab on a neutral floor with those 12 teams and ask vegas to give you a betting line and just see who would be favored.

Exactly, UAB could absolutely be a threat if given the chance. The selection committee knows this. We will see what happens.
Teams like UAB and Tulsa get an unfair shake because everyone expects Memphis to run the table in the conference (everyone except teams like UAB and Tulsa, lol). Memphis needs to be beaten to rectify that. Naturally, I don't want that to happen (ever), but I think this perception is total BS. Memphis doesn't lose to teams it's not supposed to lose to in or out of conference (ever). BCS bias at its finest.
