I'm VERY concerned with our ability to stop other teams on 3rd down. FSU was something like 8/9 on 4th down, Memphis reeled off several straight 3rd down conversions, and Cincy was 6-18. On the flip-side, we only converted around 17% of our 3rd downs.

I don't know why Cincy was able to complete so many passes on that last drive. It seems to me like we packed it in and thought we had the game wrapped up.

Sounded like too many dropped passes and overthrows for the most part. We definitely missed Chavez.

I'm glad we didn't turn the ball over but forced 2 fumbles (1 recovered), ran back an INT for a TD, and blocked a FG.

If it was not for Lindsey returning the ball so well, we would not have been able to do much and probably would've lost.

Glad that Nick was 3-3.

I'm also concerned with the playcalling on 3rd &4 when our passing game was not working. It sounded like we weren't using Corey White enough.

With all of this said, we just weathered two comebacks from two good teams. We have to learn how to win games like that but I can't handle us winning in the final 15 seconds of the game.

I'm somewhat bothered by our inability to put teams away, but it's alright... we still handled business, and on the road against a tough team. Cincy isnt a great team, but they have alot of fight and of course a pretty darn good QB. I'm happy with the win. As they say, a W is a W. And we're 2-0 in the conference. Let's beat the SEC next week!

It wasnt pretty, but it was a win. This team found a way to win even when they were not playing well. :)

It was an ugly win. heck.. i will take a W over an L anytime.
It gives me the pleasure that we beat the barekats of cincinutty.
I can't stand them at all. i hope that they will get smoked by the new CUSA teams....
