Steve Mitchell will be on Dunaway and Brown today at 2:35.

Len Elmore will be on to talk about the game at 5:05.
Steve's on now
Hopefully Steve is just calling in and not actually in the studio. To be trapped in a room for any length of time with Dunaway and Brown must be completely mind numbing.
Yeah, it's a phone call
Crowd will be huge...

Guys can get too pumped for a game...Steve said he did when he played...

Seniors have to lead...

Have to play the entire game...don't fall into the trap if you get ahead early...

Not necessary for the tournament, but they know what they have to do to get to the post-season...need to take advantage of the situation with the committee watching

Talked about back in the day, Sun-Belt, and how VCU was the team to beat back then...didn't ever want to lose to them. Bartow's personality changed when they came to town.

I may have missed something, but that was what I was able to get.
D&B now talking about the fact that there is good basketball in CUSA, but teams have to step up and play with Memphis, because no one has since the others left for the Big East.

Said that tonight is huge for the conference...not just UAB
Some good points made by Brown. Said in order for CUSA to be taken seriously, teams other than Memphis needs to win games against good teams OOC and not have to rely on beating the Tigers to get into the Dance. UAB, UTEP, UH and Tulsa all had chances to do that this year and didn't capitalize on the opportunities.
Right... and the ironic thing here is that the more the Memphis streak goes on, the more it actually hurts them. I don't want nor am I asking Memphis to lose intentionally... just pointing out the obvious that their national reputation does NOT improve with a long win streak. If anything, it hurts their cause. The national media is not going to think so much of "wow... what an accomplishment" as much as "wow... what a sorry conference." That hurts all of us... but that includes Memphis.
I'm certain they didn't note we had to play our big 6 ooc games on the road.

Well two of those were neutral sites. That being said, UAB should have won at least one of those games. Do that and we're not in the position that we find ourselves in tonight. But that is neither here or there.

Gotta take care of business tonight.
