The guy is bad news Trojans, thats how I feel about it. Hes a GREAT player and gifted athelete. He's gonna burn you guys sooner or later.

So your trying to say that in a city of 86,396 with roughly 300,000 people there each day in South Florida that Troy with a population of 14,000 is thug U? wow.... I'm sure plenty of your so called "students" have made rap videos... I guess Jarboe was just stupid enough to let it get out, but it doesn't make him a thug. I know plenty of guys around Troy that rap and they are not thugs. Some are in the Troy Music Industry program which is very hard to get into and has produced some of the best music writers and producers in the Southeast and in the Nation.
Dont care so much about the rap video, I would agree that wasnt too big a deal UNTILL you see his prior and post activites. Put it into context with his behavior and its more telling.
I was more concerned with his SECOND arrest for violence.
1st offense Bringing a loaded gun to his high school
2nd offense Arrested for Misemeanor Assault on a woman.
I know I got into a huge argument with the Troy fans on this over at GTT, and in all honesty this guy is trouble brewing for you all. He could throw your program back from all the progress youve made.

I am inclined to agree, they are very grave offenses. I have no idea what it holds for the future. My take on the second offense is that the girl was basically asking for a fight, nagging on him in a very physical way like a gnat. Even so, he should have handled it differently. No argument there. I believe most thought he just randomly chocked some girl, because that's all the police report had on it.

Can't say that for sure, but the potential certainly exists. He may never screw up in the four years he has here, but I can't say for certain it will be all flowers and daisies.
I've seen him in practice, and he looks pretty good, haven't seen enough of him to say he's as good as Julio Jones or Deandre Brown. Jerrel Jernigan at this point is still our best athlete, with Jason Bruce making a big push.

So out of the 18 teams or so (Guestimating that number) that we have played, 3 teams have said something. Hmm just happens to be three teams that we beat in 2007. Note to Troy if you dont want your QB hurt stop running the spread offense which makes him vulnerable.
i said nothing of the sort. you are reaching a bit there Scott. My statements have nothing to do with off the field incidents, I am talking about on field activity. Troy has never had another team complain about dirty play. FAU has had 4 teams in two season openly complain. If someone mentions a problem it may exist. If 4 people mention a problem you are more than likely guilty.
Jarboe may blow up in our face, but I doubt it. He's a lot like Pac Man IMO. A wild hare with amazing abilities. I think Josh will realize this is his last chance. I will be shocked if Jarboe gets in trouble again.
A lot of rival fans have been talking about Jarboe. I think it's more a case of "We HOPE he messes up so Troy will get in trouble" than a true belief he is a troublemaker. None of us know the kid, so everything is pure speculation. Everyone makes mistakes, this kid is just in the limelight.
