I don't know if this was ever posted or not, I never saw it before. I have studied for years on human behavior/ body language and deceit. I'm very good at picking up on bull crap, however I sent this link to someone I really look up to and admire. He has been called an "expert" in the field of rooting out liars and and/or picking up on deception.

After receiving his reply I thought I would post this interview. It was originally posted (as far as I can tell) over on the Bearcat forum, not on the main page, on another and Keith ended it (locked it) after I think three responses, of course Ralph threw his hat into the ring and it was locked.

It was an interview by Katz (I think) on Bob after his "leaving." The parts of the interview I found interesting was at the 22:35 mark when asked "why he was let go"....his answer was exactly what I thought from the beginning. His response at the 26:20 mark on a "power struggle"...and who were the two players Bob was talking about at the 28:15 mark?

A comment made that Zimpher was "offended" because Bob didn't acknowledge her before or after the Illini game at the 30:50 mark and lastly at the 35:10 mark on what he feels towards the people of Cincinnati. If no one has ever heard this interview, as I had not, they should listen to this because this is about the most candid interview Bob had ever done IMO....even though this was after his tenure I think.

FWIW I was told after watching this interview by my former superior that "there was no hint of ANY deception throughout the entire interview." I felt the same way but felt better after hearing that from him. I hope when Bob comes back to the city that he loves and the fans that he loves that there won't be any asses booing him because IMO he simply does not deserve that. If Gruehls/MLB/Rage/Subflea or any of the other mods (sorry I forget all of you) needs to move this to another part that is fine or delete it, I am curious as to the response of the parts that I had marked. Here is the link. I am not trying to stir the pot either, this was just an interview that I had missed and with Coach Huggins coming to town on the 26th....I thought it would be appropriate.

Might be a little archaic but I think the term "pining" best describes what is going on here.

Several words came to mind when I read this post, but that wasn't one of them. Nice choice.
When will this subject ever die?
Agree with EJ, but with sexual overtones thrown in to boot.

Gregg, now that Z is leaving, does that mean you’re going to start going to UC games again?
Check your watch....

It reads "time to move on"

This topic is tired...
You'll sleep better if you let this go.

Not to pile on, but you didn't really watch it that whole time, did you?
Evidently most of you who responded to this fail to remember what this man did for Cincinnati basketball as a whole. I am very grateful to gregg for posting this because I had never seen it before. I was compelled to watch throughout the entire playing time, and feel more enlightened about how Huggs saw and interpreted the entire situation. The way many of you scoff at this makes me question what your allegiance to Cincinnati basketball truly means.

"Pining"...hmm. Didn't think of it like that. Thanks.

No doubt. I always said my dad and me would go when she left. Actually she still hasn't left but I know he wants us to go down there against W.Va. I'm not going to push him on the whole UCATS thing again,at least not now. But I can't wait to go and see Nippert again. We haven't even been on that side of 71 since his ouster.

I've read all the posts on how the campus has changed and I can't wait to see it. I know when we go to the W.Va. game it'll be real emotional for us, that is what I think many don't understand. I know I can speak for my dad in saying that not going down there was the hardest thing we ever did. I was so mad I couldn't see straight at times because of all that crap. The true test will be when UC isn't playing a W.Va. - I know it's going to be harder on my dad, I don't know.

It'll be something no doubt on the 26th.02-13-banana

It's amazing and kind of funny to see so many folks who say they've "moved on" who still cannot resist posting in a thread that they say they've "moved on" from...

I can't wait for the Enquirer's Feb 26 articles.

It makes me a little pissed when I keep reading crap like that, the innuendo. Prove it, that's what I say. I am sure if there was any validity to that it would have been leaked long ago. There were many who didn't like Bob, especially a few choice "journalists" for lack of a better word. If there was ANY truth to that it would have been leaked, I have never read anything, be it print media or the internet with names etc.

The part in that interview where Bob said "he was told by some people that she wanted him gone from the beginning" something like that was the most telling because it coincides with that look of disdain I saw on her face when she saw Bob coming off the elevator, that was long before his dui or anything. To me, it is more believable that this was in the works and she was the hired gun so too speak, which again coincides with her leaving and finding another institute to clean up before Bob came back.

What sexual overtones are you talking about Dann?

Thanks Catman. Honestly I never saw that interview before and when I saw it on that site, I had never even knew of that site and I thought maybe it wasn't on that popular of a site and not many had seen it.

I will never understand the people that after the fact say they wanted Huggins gone, I just don't get it. But that subject has been beaten many times and I don't care to go there anymore. But it was a good interview and very telling to me but apparently not telling to the ones that are glad he is gone.
