He had a bunch of family and friends up from South Arkansas to watch him. That same crowd will probably be at our game on the 19th.
If we had him, we probably would not have edwards. The two players are not apple to apples but we need the play making Edwards brings more than the poor man's Raph Sampson. Evans is good for wku because of the players around him. I don't know that we have the players to make him the a play maker like wku does.
wku has at least 3 guards that can shoot and drive. They play well together.

Good point DI. I'd take Edwards in a heartbeat. Kids in South Arkansas have absolutely not ties to us- I think you told me (since you are from there) that we get absolutely zero media coverage down there. No doubt the kid was much more familiar with the the WKU brand.

While I would agree that we get "zero media coverage down there," I would think that Western Kentucky would get minus zero coverage. Would think that the Louisiana schools and the pigs would be the only ting getting coverage in L.A.(that's lower Arkansas).
I've seen ONE article on the Trojans in the El Do News-Times in the last 23 months of living here. It was on the Women's team.

I'm going to disagree with you in one respect. As much as I love Shane Edwards, there are two reasons why I'd rather have Evans. First of all, doesn't Evans have another year? Shane is a senior. And With Evans inside, and assuming we didn't have Shane, Fowler would be playing the four, and you'd have Patterson, Stevie and III as the three guards. Defensively, Evans would give you the shot blocker who could help immensely on defense as well as an offensive rebounder and scorer. Just my opinion.
