What do people make of this? Four of the top six most experienced teams reside in the East. The West has three of the four least experienced teams.

Why is WMU so bad when they have so much experience? Coaching?

Personally, i think this statistic is exactly why we (NIU) are so bad. We are the youngest team in the MAC, by far. EMU is the second youngest yet still 64 places ahead of us.

Akron is younger than NIU and EMU. 13 freshmen/sophomores ain't young enough for you?
Kenpom weights height by minutes played. So this ranking has more to do with "experience of players that play"

You guys have two seniors and three juniors. We have one senior (a JUCO transfer with one year of D1 experience) and three juniors (one junior is a transfer who is sitting out, another junior is also a JUCO transfer with one year of D1 experience, and our last junior is also a JUCO transfer with no D1 experience prior). As far as i can tell, you guys have five upperclassmen playing on your team compared to our three but our upperclassmen are all JUCO's that have a total of two years of D1 experience between all of them. We have 11 freshmen/sophomores. You still have a more experienced roster than us.

Ok?

And NIU still sucks.
Ohio will be even younger next year. In 2010-2011 will have everybut KVK back....that team should see an improvement with that change as Groce should be able to find anybody better than KVK.

2009-2010 Ohio roster
sr KVK
jr Washington
jr Freeman
jr Sayles
jr Bassett
so Coleman
so Waters
