We will see how our team deals with Adversity. I for one thought up to the Tulane game that this team was different. You see WB is known for Tulane like blunders, I just thought that this team with DHack and all of the seniors would step up. So far the only people who have stepped up have been on the Offensive side of the ball. Now we will see whether or not all of the Seniors on the Defense step up to the task. If not we are screwed as in rest of the season.
I think we will fair better than everyone thinks. I wish that we could have had more practice in inclimate weather. This season has been fairly dry.
How in the hell anyone could blame Watson for Tulane when his offense scored 54 points is beyond me. Perhaps you think he should be defensive coordinator in addition to being the athletic director, head coach, and primary play caller.
Before the Tulane game people were crying that he should pass every down and run up the score, quit being so conservative when we had the lead. He did that against Tulane and now those same people are faulting him for not controlling the ball long enough and for not protecting the defense and our lead. What a bunch of hypocrites.

Not expecting any struggles... even if the weather is bad. The players are too angry, USF is too bad, and UAB is just too good at home (especially this year).
There were mental breakdowns on the defense as well as a lack of conditioning which lead to numerous missed tackles and assignments. Just because there wasn't an offensive breakdown, as in putting points on the board, doesn't mean that Tulane was not a huge letdown.
As a head coach you don't get the luxury to just coach the offense, expecially when you have to fire one of your defensive coaches. Watson has Sully to help with the offense. There were mental breakdowns out there and I think that they could have been corrected.
Regardless I just hope we fix what was terribly broke, Tulane managed only 3 points against a Houston defense that has given up a ton of yards this year.
Bobby Bowden, Larry Coker, and Dennis Francioni all had letdowns last week, it comes with the profession.

I think it will be a good game. The players know that Tulane took advantage of alot of mistakes. I don't think they'll let that happen again.
