We've had time to vent our disappointments and I agree that we need to, I think it helps but the season is not over! Let the Blazer Fans be known as fighters, never say die, it's not over till its over winners not losers. Changes can be made at the end of the year if need be. We are almost eligible for our first bowl and we want to quit now, no way! The players, alumni, fans disserve better, next year starts today! If we stop supporting next year will be no better, what recruit wants to play for a loser. We started together lets end together win or lose. Homecoming is the next hurdle, tell a player your behind the team, invite someone to come to the game, be at the Blazer Walk and lets take this Great University to the next level! I have faith and I'm willing to do what it takes to finish what we all have started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree 100% What we need now is to show our guys we stand behind them and appreciate everything they do. They are just as disappointed as us fans but they know they have to get out there and get their butts busy. When life hands you lemons, just make lemonade. We need to show up in numbers for homecoming and show them we support them. I wonder if the no show for the dragon walk had anything to do with the whole event. 04-cheers

Possibly.

Of course, all of that probably has to do with the previous attendance issues that I touched on earlier.

I, for one, refuse to give up. Oh, I was pissed off last night; especially after I sat in the driving rain for most of the second quarter. But, after being able to sleep on it, I felt okay. However, I was disappointed in the team's play.

That being said, I don't think the season's a complete wash. We need to fix some glaring errors on our defense, maybe shake up the corners a bit (I would've been able to catch passes over Bobby Keyes, and I haven't played organized football in ten years).

However, if we continue to support our team and not give up, we'll be okay, and we might even make it to the N'awlins Bowl.

I wish I would be able to make it to the Dragon Walk on Saturday, but I have drill that weekend, but I'll be able to make it to the rest of the game. Just look for the goober in a sailor's uniform. 03-wink
I'm all for pulling it together to finish the season, but with the way the team is playing, I dont know. I've never heard so much talk about the players blaming each other and pointing fingers and accusations being thrown around with coaches and players. They've got some major soul-searching to do between now and Houston. I hope we do go to a bowl of course, but unless we win out, I think I remain convinced that Watson should go.
My vent is over and I agree. Gotta support the Guys!

OL Bazermom. Do you know if the seniors have had a players only meeting?
I haven't heard good things either about what's going on in the locker room and amongst the players.

They just need to vent and get it out in the open that way everyone knows where everybody stands. Get it out and fix it. They have 9 days starting tomorrow morning.
