Buddy Harding, Zack Graber, Alan Barksdale and Jake Yancey. Has anyone seen them at any games this year? All have graduated, and at one time were living in this area. We need our former players supporting the program, especially the ones who live here.

Alex Finger and Mark Green were from Little Rock, although I don't know if they still live here.

I've seen Juric Brown, who lives in the Dallas area, at our games at in Denton, and saw him the last time we played at Centenary. He told me he has been to games at the Jack, including the night his teammate James Scott was inducted into the Trojan Hall of Fame. In my opinion, he should be in the Hall of Fame also. He was a damn good point guard too.

I have seen Josh Jacobs at several games at the Jack. I forgot where he told me he was living, but he had come back for several games.

I don't have any idea if our athletic office tries to keep track of former players, but they should, and we should have as many of them back for games as oten as we can, and recognize them when we know they are here.
I think they ought to recognize them at games.

I played basketball the other night against Green.

Did he say whether or not he comes to Trojan games, and what he is doing now?

And speaking of James Scott, what happened to James Scott, Jr. who was a freshman on the roster last year?

James is playing for Charles Ripley at Arkansas Baptist College. Ripley told me earlier in the year that James was starting for him and doing well.

Do you figure that this might be a deal where Scott comes back to the Trojans after a couple of years?

I don't know that Peter, but Rip is a UALR grad, and he makes all our games, so I'd think he'd be supportive of that if James is good enough to play. It would be great if the son of one of our all time greats is good enough to play here.

Did you take him to school?03-lmfao
I saw Terrance Akins at our last game. I saw Alex Finger at a game last year, last tme I talked to him he was a coach or teacher at a middle school in LR, but that's been a couple of years. I agree with Scotto, if it's not a sell-out, comp tickets to any former player or coach.

I have no idea what they do ticket wise for former players, but I would think(hope) that they'd give them tickets if they know they are coming to a game.

Another player that I used to see at games is Richard Hardman. I believe he is the player that married an Arkansas girl who was an UALR student. Maybe she has also graduated by now, and they have moved.
Barky married a TV reporter from NW Arkansas and was living up there. Think they just had a baby. I think they are back in this area though. He came to several non-conference games Nov. and Dec. Haven't seen him at UALR since middle of Dec. Seen him at some local prep games, too. Yancy and Graber came a lot last year.
Something tells me JP and Chris take care of our own.

I spoke to him at a game year before last, I think. He was holding a cute little baby. Very polite and accommodating.

Tony Jones would be easy to spot if he shows up. Of course he'd probably be thrown out of the arena for picking up five quick blocking fouls by running into fans in the walkways.05-nono
