If this isn't justification or reason for Bush to write Blanket Pardons, I don't know what is.. Hopefully this is why he came back early from Camp David today. I smell a "Witch hunt" in the air...(or is that change?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is receptive to the idea of prosecuting some Bush administration officials, while letting others who are accused of misdeeds leave office without prosecution, she told Chris Wallace in an interview on "FOX News Sunday."
"I think you look at each item and see what is a violation of the law and do we even have a right to ignore it," the California Democrat said. "And other things that are maybe time that is spent better looking to the future rather than to the past."
Rep. John Conyers, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, announced Friday he wants to set up a commission to look into whether the Bush administration broke the law by taking the nation to war against Iraq and instituting aggressive anti-terror initiatives. The Michigan Democrat called for an "independent criminal probe into whether any laws were broken in connection with these activities."
President-elect Barack Obama has not closed off the possibility of prosecutions, but hinted he does not favor them.
"I don't believe that anybody is above the law," he told ABC News a week ago. "On the other hand, I also have a belief that we need to look forward as opposed to looking backwards."
Pelosi, during the interview in her ceremonial office, said there is merit in both arguments.
"I don't think that Mr. Obama and Mr. Conyers are that far apart," she said. "There are different subjects and you treat them differently."
She hinted that the law might compel Democrats to press forth on some prosecutions, even if they are politically unpopular, adding: "That's not up to us to say that doesn't matter anymore."
"We cannot let the politicizing of, for example, the Justice Department to go unreviewed," she added. "I want to see the truth come forth."

So, if they did nothing wrong, why would they need pardons? If he does, I think that indicates that they DID do something wrong and are trying to cover their asses.

The fact that they aren't seeking to do this until after Bush has left office shows exactly how completely political it is. If they really thought laws were broken, they'd have done investigations long before now. But they didn't. Make no mistake this a political witchhunt. No one would go to jail, no one would be prosecuted. It would be a liberal congress and a liberal president attempting to ensure that they distort the last 8 years to their advantage.

Well, the libs ignore 12 million criminals who are in this country illegally, including Obama's aunt. They ignore treason by the New York Times when they put national defense secrets on the front page. They ignored it when Hillary fired her travel staff but went bonkers when Bush fired prosecutors. They ignore extortion by Jesse jackson and Sharpton. They ignore crime victims and give comfort to criminals.
I'll tell you when the NEXT Terrorist Attack in the Continental US will happen--- about 6 months AFTER Panetta starts his Witch Hunt and cans the Clandestine/Covert Operations Officers and the Justice Department starts investigating CIA and NSA Officers.
They will hit.. and guess what... We won't have much of an Unconventional /Covert Response Capability-- Because all our BEST Agents are GONE. This will force us into an OVERT Response.. such as a direct invasion of Pakistan... which will be REALLY popular here and abroad.
I'm sure the CIA will come back to their Operations People and offer to "make it up to you"... maybe even offer a Pardon and a big pay raise if they just come back.

There are many facts out there you just fail to see them. They will just come out for all to see and your blinders will no longer work(ie. even Faux would have to report them).
