We need to be unselfish with the basketball and find the open man.We don't have an inside game so make the extra pass and find the open man. Also when the other team goes on a run , a time out might help. Hopefully we will get a win on Sunday.
Everybody wants to be the high scorer, but no one wants to do the dirty work. If everyone knows their role and fills their role we might win a game.

When our guards drive the ball to the basket a big man needs to make a cut like he wants the ball otherwise our guards are going to be in trouble.Someone and I won't call any names, needs to learn how to pass out of the double team and not not force shots, when he has teammates posting up for the 3
Welcome to the boards Baller8. I'm sure the frustration is stemming from the injuries, redshirts and lack of leadership
Our lack of post game is tough, I agree. We are constantly trying to create on the perimeter, and eventually that leads to in-game slumps. During that time is when the other team makes a big run, and we are almost helpless to stop them. Glad to see that Mitchell played last game. He obviously is working himself back into game shape, and didn't play a particularly good game, but he will be an important player for us down the stretch as he gets his game legs back.

We are not playing as a team. If we don't do it on the offensive end, it sure as hell ain't going to happen on the defensive end. Weakside help defense in the paint has been weak all season. We are not going to be successful if one person turns the ball over 9 times because they won't change how they play or what they see.

Time is running out for this season to be successful .....
It scared me to see Markeith Cummings dressed out for the game, even though he kept the T-shirt cover on the entire time. I would absolutely hate to have him burn a redshirt at this point of the season. I'd love for the team to be more competitive, but we have to look at this as a building block for next season. Get Woods and Dixon some more experience, continue to work in Zadrian Gibson, get McConnell to work on his passing game and get the big guys some work on their post game. We should play every game for pride, but at this point of the season, it's not about winning or losing ... it's about developing the team to make a big splash in our first year of D-I eligibility.

I think Gibson can really become a surprise player for us if he can just work on position and footwork ... Next season should be a really interesting competition for the forward and center slots with Heramb and Green entering the mix.
