I have a question about home wireless networking. I currently have a home N network but want to switch my desktop to wired to the modem or router and maintain my wireless. Any ideas of best way to set up? I have looked and can't locate the instructions for the router. Thanks in advance for any help.

Connecting to your router with a network cable will have no impact on your wireless connection or your network configuration. When you make a physical connection from your computer to the router, that connection will have priority over wireless. You essentially just plug and go.
