Ohio and Marshall will be co-hosts for a five team round robin tournament next year with Ohio vs Marshall in Charleston as the showcase game of the tournament. Ohio and Marshall both get 3 home games next year with this classic. Classic hopes to invite Big South, Southern and OVC teams that are within 3 or 4 hours of Huntington and Athens. Tournament is exempt so it only counts as two games toward the NCAA maximum number of games. Thanksgiving weekend tournament which should have Friday Miami vs Ohio football game also in Athens. wow !!!!!! 4 basketball and 1 football game in one weekend for Ohio fans in the Athens area. Should have good crowd as the football fans could stay longer and catch the tournament.
