Western out of the saddle, our question was answered last night. I never saw so many 3's go down, and they don't hesitate shooting them.
Of course it doesn't hurt to have a rebounder and shot blocker like Vornado underneath should you miss. I was really impressed with their freshman point guard who totally outplayed Fortson, who was so out of control it was pitiful. If Pelphrey doesn't rein him in a little, they will have a tough SEC run.03-banghead03-banghead03-banghead03-banghead03-banghead

If they can't beat an Ole Miss team that lost it's 2 best players for the year, you're probably right despite the SEC being the weakest BCS conference this year.

If history means anything, most of the Hogs great teams, even under Nolan Richardson, couldn't win at Ole Miss. But we broke the UNO jinx, so maybe the Hogs can do the same at Ole Miss.01-lauramac201-lauramac201-lauramac201-lauramac201-lauramac2

That game says more about WKU being a Jeckyl and Hyde team, rather than Miss State being any great shakes-
Western has lost by 28 to Murray State, by 32 to Evansville, by 28 to Miss State, and lost to a depleted FIU team. They've beaten Louisville, Georgia, at USA, and UALR (by 32). They are a bettors worst nightmare as they are totally unpredictable.
Pelphrey obviously forgot out to coach last night. He simply remembered against OU and UT. For the Chickenhawgs' sake, I hope he remembers again soon.
