on defense several times in a game like Saturday? Off sides on the defense, over and over at one time Saturday.

They need to work on that.

All and all, good job Saturday.
Let me just say it was very frustrating to watch them continually do that while we were freezing in the rain.

Oh yeah...Army has AWESOME concessions!
Because Army watches game film and knew that we had a bunch of sacks and tackles for losses against a good houston offense. They practiced a hard count all week and it worked. It was the same reason that the screens they ran worked. Our DE's are for the most part very fast, very young, and not as disciplined as guys with 2 years of D1 play. There were some no call's on the Army Offensive line as well.

By awesome do you mean plain hotdogs? :-P
Army had plenty of concession stands, a large variety of foods, quality food, and great service.
Weather I'm sure was a factor in penalties. When you put together rain and 40 degree temps, your mind runs a little sluggish and you start to make mental errors.
Amen to the great concessions and fast service! Oh, and they didnt run out of hot chocolate!!!
Man, it was cold and wet during the game. The atmosphere was still amazing with the cadets cheering and the music. While they did still our flags, it was pretty cool that they were able to do that right in front of us. Their band also played all of our songs during the game.

I was very impressed with the cadet parade and the fact they let Dr. Garrison sit next to the other three people judging the cadets. It was pretty cool how the stadium was built on the side of a mountain with a lake on the southern end. People had tailgating areas all the way around the lake.

The ferry was cool going down because you could look back and see the mountains go all the way into the Bronx with then the skyscrapers. At night coming back, it was cool to see all the lights on both sides of the river.

Those other people were 4 star generals.
Anyone who wants to learn more about west point, read "Absolutely American" It is a book written by a Rolling Stone reporter who went to West Point to do a story, got upset at how he was being led around and only allowed to see what they wanted him to see and so he got fed up and left. A week later the Commandant of the academy called him to apologize and told him that if he still wanted to do an article on West Point that he would see to it that he would have free reign. He went back to do his story and fell in love with the place and ended up staying for four years, following the cadets that came and went during that time. It's a great story about what the dedication of the cadets and about the history of the place. He was there from like 1999-2002 and so he was there for 9-11.
