We've had an 8 year coma patient in the White House these last two terms. Obama could hardly do worse than Bush-catastrophic, unnecessary, collosally expensive war in Iraq. Economy in worst tailspin since 1932. America's reputation the world over is trashed. Republican party in tatters. US Dollar on the verge of implosion. National Debt skyrockketing.
Tell me Dip, is there ANYTHING Bush has done that hasn't been half-assed?????

The best humor I've had is when Dumbo has brain-lock mid sentence and forgets to follow the cue card. What are we going to do with his destruction of the English language the next 8 years?
I have to say, Obama has had more scandals before inaugeration than any president that I can remember, now Richardson, his "Secretary of Commerce" is being investigated for taking bribes in New Mexico and has to beg off the cabinent nomination. (THAT'S great commerce work, what's the problem?)

They've proven they're so adapt at "connecting with the people" as a family, they would have to be crazy not to consider him. LOL!!

Actually Jeb was the first real out of the family. He did great for Florida
I'm sorry, after two Bush's we can do better.
Jeb may be the best of the bunch but Dumbo queered the deal for the Bush family. Never again.

I don't think he's electable anyway.
He may take a run at a senate seat in Florida. His last name is poison right now. He really needs to change his name, perhaps something like Hussein Obama or the likeness. Seriously though he did wonders for Florida but his national status is forever gone.
The Bush family influence on the Republican Party is finished. They had their chances, the most recent being a collosal failure. The name is poison. Nuff said.

just saw that amazing all the things that go on around Obama but he still seem to be made out of rubber, everything bounces right off of him. I hope he does well because we lost almost 50% of our net worth in 1 year and our house went down in value for the first time. Had to meet with my financial guy over the weekend he has a hard time looking me in the eye.
That's all we have now, is hope. I'm not holding my breath.

The main stream media has stopped reporting the news and now are simply advocacy organizations (that are going under because of it, mind you). You only had to watch the primaries to see it. Once the media decided to promote Obama, they turned on Hillary like a pack of wolves.
Obama will be much like BC was. Nothing will stick. I was amazed at how good they were at breathing air back into Clinton. Not only did they give Clinton new life, they were able to turn public opinion against Linda Trip for outting them, and Ken Starr or doing his job. While it wasn't what we expect reporters to do, it was masterful to watch.
The reason nothing stuck to Reagan is he knew how to use the bully pulpit. They'd say he was starving little children because he wanted an 8% increase in a program instead of a 20% increase. He'd go on TV, throw a 12 inch thick copy of the U.S. budget on the desk, and get the audience laughing at the libs and their government solutions.
A Republican president is always going to be painted a certain way by the media, and the only way to beat them at their game is to put your mug on TV so much they can't define you in 12 word sound bites.
First, you have to have a Republican president who can speak multi-syllabic sentences without crossing his eyes. Masterful was watching this team of henchmen keep him out of the limelight as much as possible during their execution of their Iraqi scheme, they had a four year hall pass and blew it.
BTW, I think it's more than just a media thing. Same with Dumbya.

Carter was pretty damn dumb, but Dumbo takes it to new levels. He's borderline slow.

When Bush had 'vapor lock' during a press conference about 3 1/2 years ago his handlers were seriously worried. After that press conferences became very few and far between, with rehearsed questions and memorized answers.
He's been practically invisible the last 6 months or so, since the economy fell apart. Outside of his midnight address to the American people asking us to support a bailout bill for Wallstreet he's been almost a non-entity. He served his purpose for his handlers.
When the repubs and Bush expanded the gov't, I balked.
The repubs acted like the Dems so they are out. Reagan had it right the gov't can't fix he problem when they are the problem. My problem is w/Obama but it gets out of control when you have Pelosi and Durbin/Schumer as the folks behind the curtain, that you guys are worried about.
Two parties cancelling each other works. It worked w/Iran & Iraq at one time.Let them beat each other up and accomplish nothing .
