Reminding me of WVU vs. UGA game back in 2005. This is why you need a playoff. Those media bias crap is garbage. This UTAH team is very good and they are really attacking against that Alabama front. I got that Smith guy is sorely missed.
UTAH DL is putting some huge pressure on Bama QB. Bama is holding on every play. When will refs call some of these holdings? I hope Utes wax them in the 2nd half and stick it to the "SEC" media.
More reason to A have a playoff or B include the Mountain West in the BCS as an auto bid at worst similar to the Big East's rotation between the bowls.

Utes also have a good number of Texans on their roster. They are in a good position to recruit the polynesian kids, California kids, and Texas kids.
Since they can't get the BCS title, if I'm an AP voter and Utah wins, particularly if its by two score, I vote them #1. Beat the SEC runner-up, beat the 2nd place PAC-10 team (one who beat USC) and ran through their conference undefeated against two teams who were ranked most of the year, including one who probably finishes top 10 (TCU). Smells of a champ in my book.
I sure hope Utah can hold on. I'd love to see Bama go down...
UTAH got a damn good kicker. The kid will play in the NFL. I hope UTAH wins to give another black eye to those bias media idiots. I wonder what Herby has to say about this. I clearly remember that he said Alabama gonna wax Utah cause Alabama is too big too tough blah blah blah. Too bad they have to play on the field. What I see is an UTAH DL that has dominated a Bama OL.

agree...heck they beat Bama worse than Florida did...right in the heart of SEC territory...
Congrats to the Utes. Matt's right. I hope the AP voters have the courage to make them National Champs.

Sad thing is that they won't.
This game makes me feel better about the 05 Pitt lose to Utah. Utah will only get better. I think this win and the pub that will happen the next few weeks will get them even better recruits. MWC will be the next BCS conference. Sorry Bit as much as I want to see a playoffs it won't happen. More teams will be included in this sham to quiet the nation down.
Utah has the longest winning streak of 14, Also the longest bowl winning streak at 8, and 2 BCS Bowl wins in the last 5 years. Utah has a stronger case than USC for #1 votes. They have a stronger case than Florida, Texas, Oklahoma too....Florida lost to Mississippi.......who beat Texas Tech, who beat Texas who beat Oklahoma. Alabama beat Mississippi, and Utah beat Alabama. Utah beat two schools that beat #1 ranked teams....and a school that was ranked #1 until the week after Thanksgiving.
