Looks like a nice crowd today, but nothing special. Several BE teams could have brought that # of fans

Actually a good game. ACC took another loss but at least Clemson did not embarrassed the ACC like GTECH did.
Excellent game if you just like a good competitive FB game. Did they announce the attendance?
I did'nt watch the game but I kept up with the score, as I was watching the Nova/Marquette game. But I do know that this loss assures that the acc will have a losing record this bowl season. I think the acc is 2-6 right now, with a couple of losses to the BE. The league should be do for a win though, which is not good for Cincy tonight. Boy do I hope that I'm wrong. Is there another acc team playing?
Looked full to me, announcers said game was soldout.
your right tough Jackson BE has 4 schools now that
can bring 15,000 to 20,000 grand to Gator
another 3 that would bring 10 to 15 grand.
jury still out on Syc & Pitt

It was one of the better games this bowl season.., at least part of the neb pick was simply saving one last shot at ND.
It was a fun game to watch, the best so far this weekend.

Attendance was soft, which sadly has become the norm at gator bowls the last few years.
I watched some of the game. But I enjoyed the Georgia win over Mich St.
Gator had 67,000. Outback had 54,000. Capitol1 had 59,000.

The Outback Bowl seems to be more empty then that but then again, I only caught the tail end of the game.

There is little doubt a game in FLA against a good BCS opponent will get at least 15K to 20K from at least 4 BE schools (WVU, UL, UCONN and RU). Cincy could certainly bring that amount with their latest showing. I like BE needs to line up some bowls in FLA against good BCS opponents, not those non-BCS games against CUSA and others.

Umm... We brought ~ 20K to play Memphis. I can pretty much guarantee we'd bring that for "a good BCS opponent" to a location to which we can drive...

Agreed. I think when I say travel I mean those folks have to get on a plane. Of course, some people could very well drive from CT/NJ to FLA as well. Let's hope the BE can upgrade St Pete Bowl with a BCS opponent and tie down another FLA bowl in either Gator or Champs.
