Apparently, he is also the Wachovia Chair at the UAB Business school. That's a slick move to get them to sponsor a chair and the first time I've been aware. Maybe that will stop the revolving door in the Dean's office at what is really an excellent Business college.
Now if he can put a stop to the bleeding of professors leaving the school... Broom.. Nail.. etc.......

I think you could argue that the two were related. Stop the constant changes at the top, and the rollovers at the bottom will cease.

Nail should have been at the top. Period.
I think the Wachovia chair may have been a result of the SouthTrust acquisition.

Was there a SouthTrust Chair? Understand, I only got my MBA at the Business school so I'm not that connected. My undergrad was Mech. Engineering.
