Looks to be a real jewel no matter which side of the ball he plays on.

Evaluation

Hart is an offensive guard who can be a people mover in the trenches. He has good size for the position and looks to carry his 300-plus pounds fairly well. He comes off the ball and makes good initial contact. Gets solid hand placement and drives his feet. He will play with pretty good leverage and displays some good raw power. You would like to see him bring his hips more and generate more power from his lower body. He can generate push off the ball and create seams and is tough in base block situations. Does a solid job of pulling and being able to make contact and kick-out. He does a very adequate job of working up to the second level. He moves fairly well for a big guy, but needs to improve his angles of attack. He can wash a defender down, but needs to work on his steps and get better positioning. He is a solid presence as a pass blocker. Will play with some knee bend and can get back and stay square. You would like to see him be more active with his hands and punch, but he keeps his head on a swivel. You could see Hart being projected to defensive tackle as he displays adequate quickness out of his stance. He is also physical and could be tough to move off the ball. There is some merit to playing on defense in college, but we feel his best fit will be on the offensive line at guard.
Notes

Originally committed to Maryland, but his scholarship was pulled due to academic concerns (AJC)...
