Coach Beckman, during an interview on 1470, talked a lot about recruiting. He plans to honor our two verbals, he said they made a commitment to the Toledo Rockets and that's the type of person he wants. How many scholarships does that leave for 2009?
We have three public verbals........QB Austin Boucher, WR Eric Page, and FS Jermaine Robinson.
Hard to say about scholarships, because we don't know who might leave the program with a new coach coming in. All players I have talked to are very excited about Beckman, but there are bound to be a few players that won't be so excited and might have or will talk to Beckman about leaving the program.
