Garcia is a Extremely Nice Guy who is trying to create a better life for himself and his family. If he has the skills needed he will go on and play Professional Sports hopefully helping to elevate all those around him and potentially many in his Country with seed capital for Business ventures. Isn't that what going to College is all about. Helping kids create a better life for themselves and those around them. Some are talented in the sciences, others in the arts or business, still others SPORTS. Not evaluating a player on a timely basis hurts the kid and his family the most. Surly the clearing house can hire the staff needed to do their job on a timely basis.

I agree 100%. The NCAA should have to explain why this is taking so long.

Should Garcia not Clear, he has lost a year he could have potentially played Professionally in Europe. The Status Quo at the Clearing House is hurting people's lives and potentially needs to be LEGALLY ADDRESSED. Garcia could have possibly lost a few hundred thousand a year thanks to a Lack of Professionalism at the Clearing House. Income that could have helped his family. He chose to come to Memphis to develop his Game and at the same time will be learning English and working on a Education which will improve his life opportunities. Should the Clearing House continue to drag their collective feet quality athletes may forgo playing in the US.

Lawsuits have been filed, but usually not with much success, and the players have to do it after they are denied. See
