My family is planning on driving down to Miami (hopefully) and we have a question. The orange bowl web-site states that children older than two need tickets. With our son being 4, we do not want to pay 125 for him to sit on our lap. Does anyone have past experience with how strict BCS games or other stadiums are with age policies? The Nipp is fairly flexible and has let him in without a ticket twice this year. Is the orange bowl usually sold out? We might try to get him in and buy a ticket at the gate if they make us. Any thoughts?

I might suggest getting your tickets through UC for your family but for your 4 year old son getting a cheaper bad seat ticket just to make sure he will be able to get in. There are 30 dollar tickets available on Stubhub, but those seats are really bad views and won't be anywhere near as good as the seats you will get through UC and you won't be sitting in the UC section. So my suggestion is to buy a ticket just in case a cheap one but just have your son sit on you lap anyway, hopefully that makes sense.
