Hillsboro 10 Maryville 7 1st Maryville loss since 2003

Hillsboro HS is about two miles from my house. They are a traditional football power so the result does not shock me. Congrats to the Burros!
My sister in law graduated from there a long long time ago
That is a bit of a shock, but this is the weakest Maryville team in a while.
I saw some of that game and enjoyed it. Maryville only scored on a throwback trick play. The Hillsboro defense was stifling.
Dont know if there is a thread on it, but Mitchell lost to KNoxville Catholic 28-18. Mitchell had a chance but threw a costly pick with 5 minutes left
Heres the real question...Can the Tigers get good players from any of these teams?????????????

I live in the slums of Green Hills (just east of David Lipscomb University). The school is in the heart of Green Hills, right across the Green Hills Mall.
I heard Maryville is going 5-A next year.

They won several Championships at 4A.
I'm going to take it out of Tennessee for a moment, but I have to brag on my boys from the 757. Of the divisions that are represented in our area code, three of the four divisions brought home state championships.

Division 1
Franklin 28
Clintwood 20

Division 5
Phoebus 37
Dinwiddie 13

Division 6
Oscar Smith 54
Osbourn 24

Way to kick butt guys! This is the area that brought up Percy Harvin, Michael Vick, Dre Bly, Plaxico Burress (eek!), Bruce Smith, Allen Iverson, Alonzo Mourning and others. There will be a lot of D1A talent coming out of the area this year and a lot of underclassmen rising up to replace them. Southeastern Virginia breeds championship football!
One of my former schools the Baldwyn Bearcats won the Mississippi Class 2A State Title today 04-rock
