This is only happening because he's black. He was framed by the cops in the murder trial and now he gets 15 years for a harmless little robbery that wasn't even a robbery since he was trying to get his own stuff back.

The Goldmans were there and were pleased with things, lol, as one would expect. The interesting thing is that an excuse that was floated in the trial was that OJ was selling some of this stuff via third party as to avoid paying the Goldman's proceeds(due to the civil trial verdict). He commited a crime and is being punished. I guess that officially ends his search for the killers, huh?

This is a sad day. OJ will no longer be able to continue his tireless search for the "real" killer on California golf courses.
Tough break for the real killer.
I live in Vegas where all this went down. Based on what he did and the perjury he committed, I wouldnt say he is getting a light sentence but he didn't have the book thrown at him. Any other person that would have done what he did would have gotten life in prison, but the prosecution didn't proceed with every charge because of his celebrity status.
So, those people who say he was judged harshly don't know what they are talking about...if anything he got off with a light sentence because he was OJ Simpson and a celebrity.

Somebody must have missed [or selectively ignored] the long report on the strictness of the applicable Nevada law, and that the judge had very little leeway.
Kidnapping, and the use of a gun in a crime, are serious offenses in Nevada [unlike other places closer to home].
The jail terms are pretty much pre-set for these crimes.
I'm happy for the Goldmans and the Browns. He should have been in prison since 1995 and now he may end his life in prison. O.J' had everything going for him and made some terrible, horrific choices. I hope that while in prison he make his best decision ever and turns his life over to the Lord.
