look like ND or Rutgers in MCB is possible.

Appears that Ken Hoffman (who controls BOTH the MCB and International Bowls) will use his power to arrange the BEST possible matchup for BSU.

Rutgers/BSU could be a damn tough matchup for BSU.

Rutgers is playing very well now.
you can't hurt Internatinal bowl, Buff-Conn cann't be disturbed.
ND going to the Sun or Tex bowl.
BE free's up Pitt for MotorCity, Fine.
Tulsa-BSU in GMAC & CM-NCST in MCB, works for me.
Two points or maybe three:

1). UB vs. UConn seems pretty set. UB wants it. Ken Hoffman (Exec. Dir.) wants it.

2). I'm paraphrasing Ken Hoffman (Exec Dir. of MCB also) -'why would I not want an undefeated BSU team in that game?'

Sure they aren't from MI but undefeated is a HUGE get. I'd be shocked if the MAC 'farmed out' BSU.

AND for those who criticize the MAC office should realize that the MAC office was behind the founding of BOTH MCB and I Bowl. Hmmm. Ken Hoffman runs both bowls.

That is SWEET! 04-bow

(GMAC was started with the help of Marshall when they were a MAC member - idea was to give Marshall a 2nd option for a bowl - instead of MCB every year. MAC involved in the founding of THREE bowls).

Wonder if the MAC will be involved in founding a bowl in Indy (giving BSU a natural bowl home) if one or more other bowls go under?

I think this is more likely with the new stadium and BSU's success the last two years. (wouldn't an Indianapolis Bowl been sweet this year with BSU and a new stadium 04-bow ).
here is a New Jersey article on Rutgers:

http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/index....in_co.html

last two paragraphs:

"He should finish his career playing on CBS, against one of the better Pac-10 teams, in El Paso. The Sun Bowl would get a better team and, if you like scoring, probably a better game.

But Teel and Co. probably will end up in Detroit. That's just how college football works, and the ones you feel most sorry for isn't Rutgers. It's the school that has to play this team in a bowl right now. "

Rutgers is a fear foe. No doubt.

If BSU / Rutgers happens and I'm in Detroit for Christmas, I'll pay to see this game!!
Rutgers is on a tear....much rather see a ranked Pitt in the MCB game.
Quote:The Sun Bowl would get a better team and, if you like scoring, probably a better game.

Are they saying that whoever Rutgers' opponent would be in the Sun Bowl would have more potential to put up points than Ball State?

That said, it would be entertaining to see Pitt lose to MAC teams to begin the season and to end the season.
