Just curious, did anybody see I think it was #4 punch the younger Griffin brother in the sack? Man it was dirty, he only got ejected, the announcers were saying he should sit out the next game.

Can't imagine what would happen if someone at our school did that.

didn't see that. but I did see the last 5 minutes or so. Oklahoma sure did get the benefit of the calls. The intentional foul when Griffin was going in for a layup, and Hackett played the ball and Griffin overreacted, was total BS.
Not to mention the charge on Blake Griffin with a couple minutes to go that wasn't called.

Oklahomas great, particularily Blake Griffin, but they do get the calls.
All home teams get the calls. Always. That's why it is such a big deal to win on the road.
Speaking of getting all the calls...

Did anyone see the mugging that UCLA put on Texas in the last minute with absolutely NO calls. The rebound that was called a jump ball was a horrible call. UCLA is definitely living large with the refs again this season.
#4 is Leonard Washington who has a LONG history of that sort of crap in HS and AAU ball. This past summer he got ejected from AAU events like 3 weeks in a row and at one he refused to leave the court and event organizers told him if he didn't, they'd call the police and have him arrested. he's a total thug, he's the same kid that was visiting Kentucky and telling the coaches he wanted to go there, while he had a signed LOI to USC. He didn't qualify and was out on the recruiting trail and nobody realized he still had the LOI. USC eventually released him, he moved from Louisiana to Compton, used a continuation school and BYU online to qualify, and is now a 21 year old freshman at USC.

Also after he went to the bench he told Tim Floyd "I didn't do it." So Floyd goes over to argue with the refs, sees the replay, and then marches back over and gets in a shouting match with Washington for lying to him. Floyd even outed Washington after the game he said he told me he didn't do it, he's a freshman he forgets everything is on tape these days. HIlarious.

As for the other stuff, the reason they called that intentional on Hackett was that if you watched the game Hackett was totally out of control. Once he got fouled and stared the guy down, once he got fouled and slapped the guys hands away(both times refs jumped in). Another time he flopped, didn't get a call and then while on his back stuck his foot out trying to trip the dribbler. The refs called an intentional because they could see the game getting out of hand due to all the cheapshots from USC players.

And yes, UCLA got away with about 5 fouls in that last minute I don't have a clue what the ref was looking at. I was surprised we played that close to them, with only 3 points from the vaunted freshman class against a very good Texas team I'm pleasantly surprised the game was that close.
Can you imagine the backlash if one of our guys had done that?
Blake Griffin is a smart player. He flopped against Dorsey last year trying to draw a T on him. I've seen him flop in other TV games. I think he added some drama to both of the incidents on the Sportscenter highlights last night.

If you are playing against him, you have to be prepared for that and protect yourself.
I don't think Griffin flopped this game, and I think they were getting the calls because of #4 punching the younger Griffin in the sack, completely away from the ball, or play, or anything. It was unprovoked and just dirty. They stopped the game to review it and everything.

I wanted USC to win that game until that point.
added the video on top, enjoy!

If he flopped he went overboard missing the 2 freethrows and then spending several minutes on the bench getting himself back so he could come back in the game. I may have exaggerated the hit a bit hard to say, but he was genuinely in pain that was obvious.

On your statement we can all agree plus Tim Floyd is not in control
of this team ,during the time out after Hackett's hack ,Taj G was
screaming the F word every third word while Floyd was trying to
talk. Could you fathom that here ??
