If a student gets a ticket off of catstix.com, do they need an ID to get in? I know they frequently check mine, but I have a friend who is a student, that doesn't have an ID. Can he just bring a copy of his schedule?
2 minutes at the public safety office on campus and he'll have his id.

I should have been more clear. He's a UC Clermont student, and doesn't have a car to get down there.

gotcha. they've all been asking/checking for id's this year at the games--i don't know if his current schedule would work or not. i'd call up the ticket office and see what they say, i'm sure it has come up in the past.

Thanks. Maybe UCmarketing will help.
Doesn't UC Clermont have a place to get a student ID on campus?

They do, but it's open to three, and he works all day. He just takes one night class, but he's still a student.
I went ahead and got the ticket. I guess he'll have to get an ID.

Have him try the Public Safety office before or after his class. They are ultimately responsible for Ids and are staffed when the campus is open. The only issue is they might not always be in their office.

He's got one night class. He's only 15, but he takes PSEOP classes. He may have his mom drive him to the security office one day next week. We'll find out, because according to a guy I got ahold of at Catstix, we need Id's to get in. I have mine, but he doesn't.

He's 15 and he works all day? Sorry to go off topic but I was curious about this.

I don't know about him working all day, but PSEOP is the Post Secondary option where high school kids take college classes for both college and high school credit. If he is only taking one PSEOP class, I suspect he spends some time during the day in high school.

I tend to nitpick and over analyze, so you're probably right. It just didn't all quite fit to me.
Sorry, he has school all day. I didn't want to go to deep into detail.

Don't sweat it. If he is 15, they won't ask for an id. Just 4 years ago when I was finishing up, if you just put up a little fight, kinda argue with that old dude checking tix you were in without an id. I know that the old guy has probably gotten mre grumpy in 4 years but he will let him in if he has a ticket. Just make sure that you have your id and there shouldn't be a problem.
The policy is complete BS. I keep trying to find a way for him to go. If it wasn't a big game, I wouldn't really care. I think that because of the importance of this game, the ushers will be on lookout. I called the ticket office again, and they continue to say you're not allowed, no matter what the age is. The machine that makes them at UC Clermont is broken. Nobody that works after three has the code anyway. It's rediculious that you can't just take a schedule, and maybe your M number...

UCMarketing, I would bring this up if it is ever possible. I'm sure this isn't the only time that you have had some kind of complications like this. He goes to school for free, but if I were paying for this kind of service, I would seriously consider not coming back.
During his orientation he should have gotten a student ID. No idea how he didn't get one then. I also must say that a schedule doesn't mean crap... anybody can get a schedule (from friends, etc.) then go to games for free.

That's how they do it at UC main. At Clermont, they got the machine about halfway through the first semester. The first couple of days they were swamped. I had to wait about an hour to get mine. Then it's been having technical difficulties.
Sorry for going on a rant like this. I'm just mad. I can't believe that they let you get a ticket with your M number, but you can't get in the game. I guess we'll just try to get in. If not, I guess we'll try to buy from a scalper. I absolutly hate the UC athletics department. This is just an incompetent policy.
While i see your point....its not like its a new policy.

show your ID, or you're out of luck. Nothing new.
