Well, we are wearing the black jerseys in the Hawai'i Bowl; that's already been etched in stone.

The jersey itself wouldn't be that bad if it weren't for the green sleeves; it kinda looks like a cross between Akron and the N.Y. Jets.

They should've stuck with the design that's on NCAA 2005.

Now, here's one that's gonna bake your noodle; is this a precursor of things to come for next year's jersey design?

And those jerseys do look pitiful. Why... why would we change jerseys for our bowl game? Our regular jerseys look great.

I like the jerseys, but I have always been one to go against the flow.

The jersey change for the bowl game is an Adidas thing. They are picking up the tab for producing the jerseys. I am sure UAB gets a kickback for wearing them.

Eye problems...I've been having issues with blurred vision for months now, so I guess I need to make an appointment with the VA Hospital here and get them checked out.

I've never really had problems with the VA in Birmingham, but I guess it's because my mom works at that one and they remember me.

Here in Mobile is gonna be another story altogether.

Doesn't the athletic department get some kind of say into the jersey design? I mean, now that Bobby "I'm an idiot" Staub is gone from marketing, shouldn't we have someone with half a brain making these decisions?

I don't care who is paying for it, the school should have a say in the colors and appearance. If someone approved these, they should be fired, or at least dropped from the 14th street crossover directly in the middle of rush hour traffic on University Boulevard.
