A question to anyone who happens to use the Google Chrome browser:
What the heck is wrong with this thing? I've installed it (and removed it) on two occasions, the last time being Saturday afternoon. And both times it worked great. For 99.9% of my internet use, each new page loaded quicker than IE, Firefox, and even Opera; no errors whatsoever.
Well, except for one fairly important page: the Yahoo login page. You see, I use a lot of Yahoo's services--email, news, maps, fantasy sports, Flickr, HotJobs--and I couldn't log into ANY of them because Chrome could never seem to read the login page. In fact, Yahoo's login page was the only one I normally visit that wouldn't load correctly. It wouldn't matter if I directly tried http://login.yahoo.com or from the similar sign-in links provided at each service's front page.
In Chrome, I can log into pretty much any other portal, blog, or whatever on the web with no problem--but as long as it isn't affiliated with Yahoo. That was bothersome enough for me to un-install it less than an hour after giving it a second chance on Saturday. Am I the crazy one or is there some fix out there that I don't know about?
