Tough defense.

I wish EMU would've saved some of those points for next Friday.

How did the MACs best defense get drilled for 52 points by EMU?

Temple had game in hand, D was looking at the entertainment value for fans

If Temple would've had some of that O in the earlier games they'd be bowling this year.

No, they wouldn't have. Golden Al would still have found a way to crap it away.

True, and by the final score here I'm guessing he almost found a way today as well....oh well, he gets a big W...Mr. Golden we have Syracuse on line 1 and Washington on line 2....

I knew Golden was not a game day coach when they hired him, ever thing else he has been doing at Temple has been helping the program.
He has been making progress on game day, but he needs break out yr, next yr.

Temple's D vowed to hold EMU's score to last week's Kent attendance. They broke that promise but I'll still take the win.

Don't hold your breath. Golden Al has too big an ego to ever be a game day coach. It's all about Al in his mind and that gets in the way of rational decisions. Al should do a JoePa and spend game days in the booth with no way to communicate with the team.

Another MAC shootout in Athens.
35-35 Ohio and Akron, 4 minutes and change to go.

Did all the MAC defenses leave their games and start their Thanksgiving dinners early today?

BAH HA HA HA HA
Man, that was funny! Dude, you totally burned Kent there! Score to the attendance... that... that's brilliant! How did you think of that?
Attendance! Oh man, I need to get back in my chair.

You just gotta love some of the defense in the MAC. This time of year i always have to check if I'm seeing football scores or hoops scores?

I can't understand why there is such hostility regarding anything Temple throughout the MAC.
I've seen 1 reputed justification: Temple came into the MAC expecting to dominate.
I don't know any credible source at Temple that ever held this position. Every fan I know holds a lot of respect for the conference. Of course, we like every other school have a few "Rutgers Al" types or those who just want to shoot off their mouths and flex their laptop protected beer muscles.
This thread is a great example. Temple won yesterday and some posters immediately point to our poor defensive play and others crucify Coach Golden because they happen to have the best answer to any question presented on any topic.
I've been to a few MAC venues over the years (EMU 1993 & 96, Akron 1994 & in the early 2000's, Western Michigan 1997, and Toledo 1998) and found most fans to be respectful. There were a couple of idiots but I guess you have to expect that most anywhere.
