YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Eastern Michigan University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Friday, Nov. 14, that the start time of the football game Friday, Nov. 28, versus Central Michigan University has been moved to noon. The senior day contest was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. kick off at Rynearson Stadium.
Besides the pregame ceremony to honor EMU’s senior class, the game is also fan appreciation day.
All fans attending the game will be admitted for free.

Hey, don't knock it! I was an undergrad and I got one of those gift certificates for a free Thanksgiving Dinner for two that were attached to said turkey. That might have been the swankiest date I ever went on :)

Does nobody remember a game at Waldo, I want to say 1990 or 1991, where a local radio station hired a helicopter to drop paper turkeys down on the field and stands? It was game against Miami in November. Anyone?
The helicopter was so flying so low over Waldo that it stopped the game and players started to leave the field. Maybe I am just too old.
you are not too old. To this day that was the funniest moment I remember ever at a sporting event. Herb D from Central was red faced mad after the game. Robin's color guy said on the air that he would shoot them down if he had a rocket grenade launcher.
Problem was...heavy snow and the helicopter pilots mis-timed their arrival. Instead of getting there right at the start of the half, they got there right at the start of the third quarter..

They should give away the tickets during the 1st game of the year. Maybe they can earn some fan appreciation before the fans realize how bad the team is.

Uhh, what? 9-2 overall 6-1 in the MAC. A win over a Big 10 team that went to the Rose Bowl last year. All but certain to go to a bowl game this year.

So what does everyone think the chances are of EMU beating CMU and WMU beating BSU are? I'd say 1%, because EMU is just terrible. I think the Broncos have a legit chance at the Cardinals.

EMU has a pretty good chance of beating the ChiMPS in my opinion. I still think EMU will lose but I think it will be a good game.
I give WMU a better chance against Ball U than I do the ChiMPS over EMU.

CMU has lost to EMU two of the last three years. They really struggle against the Eagles, no matter how bad EMU is.

Despite what anybody says, WMU has a 50-50 chance to beat BSU next Tuesday. All the team can do is take care of their business and then sit back and wait to see what happens in Ypsilanti on Saturday.
