I would think that wide receivers and tight ends would be drooling over the chance to play at Western with their prolific passing.

Greg Jenning and Tony Scheffler certainly prove that Western can be "that" school for transitioning into the pros.

Simmons and Ledbetter are examples of current Broncos ready to make the jump, and there are a lot of talent waiting in the wings.

Hiller has another year and really has established himself as a leader and headsup quarterback distributing the ball where he has to in order to win. Everybody gets a chance to be a receiver.

Alex Carder, I've read, is a very talented youngster waiting patiently for his time to arrive at quarterback.

Who are we recruiting in terms of wide receivers and tight ends? Western would be an ideal place for anyone who wanted to catch the ball in college and move on to greater things.
We have two tight ends already gave their verbal commitment to us for next year. We have one WR that gave his verbal, and we have offers out to about 5-8 other WR's (some JuCo WR's) out already.
Jamarko Simmons winning the Biletnikoff would be a great draw to potential WRers and TE's considering WMU. He has two more games to make a case for himself!
He's a great player but let's not get drunk on our love for the Broncos here. Jamarko is great but Crabtree and Dez Bryant are arguably better.

I will say Jennings did get screwed on the award in 05 though
HEy El Fan... i dont think Crabtree makes that catch jamarko made in the endzone on saturday.... no way... no how. I also dont see crabtree holding on to that ball down the sideline where Jamarko just ran over the Illinois DB for 3 extra yards... In my opinion.... Crabtree on his best day... doesnt cast a shadow on Jamarko on his best day... problem with Jamarko is that he doesn't really show up like saturday... every saturday. I think we saw Jamarko finally arrive... too bad it wasn't earlier in the year. My opinion.
IMHO Crabtree is the best player in college football...
Don't forget he was fighting a groin pull and hip all through the early season, for about three games he was really battling that and fighting to no show pain after every play. A lot of guts to produce what he did despite all that.

The speed he showed after the catch at Ford Field, that's just a healthly guy coming back. I don't think this season reflects his full abilities. Really he's just rounding into good shape again. Imagine him at his peak all year!
