Full Version: How good could Hiller be??

He comes back next season with virtually the entire OL back as well.

True, we have to replace Simmons (major loss), Ledbetter and Julien and that won't be easy. But we have talented underclassmen waiting for their shot. Nunez will be back and White as well.

All the RB's except Elsworth will be back, especially Brandon West.

If everyone develops and we can find 2-3 wide receivers as go-to guys this offense could be scarey good next season!
It really depends who we get in recruiting, if we land a couple great receivers he will be even better next year. He's going to need more weapons. Hiller will still be great either way.
Jordan White is a very good WR and would have likely been our #2 or #3 target this year.

Nunez- Can stretch the field, and is getting better each time out.

Arnheim- I'm going to talk to him next week, and see if he thinks WR is his future. I think the answer is yes, although I don't think that will be his answer.

I don't think we'll lose much production next year at TE, particularly if Middleton returns.

Among Patterson, Hinds, Lawrence, and Wallace (who I think may stay at WR), I think Patterson has the most upside.

There is a redshirt freshmen walk on named Eric Monette (Portage) who may........(may) end up seeing PT in his career. He's 6'5", has shown good hands, and has more speed than you'd think. He only goes 180 which at the moment is what may keep him off the field.

Nunez, White, Arhiem, Patterson, Middleton, and Stevens will be a formidable group, and I think one player will emerge with star quality.

On an unrelated not Jaron Deshazor's dad was elected to the State House this week, and the guy is very "pro WMU."
We recruiting any JC WRers??
Not at the moment, but a lot changes in the next 30 days.
My Christmas wish................That Flenard Whitfield would opt to play both football and basketball. Much more likely with a football scholarship playing basketball. Whitfield would be a showcase receiver within two years, much the way Hardy at IU was.
Isn't Wiggins playing WR next year too?
If Whitfield played football, he would switch to a football scholly per NCAA regulations.
Wiggins is being looked at as a CB for next season. Another sector we need to rebuild with Biggers, Fryar graduating.
