Wow, that was great! What it didn't show was that 90% of the Illini players walked off the field without shaking hands. Pretty classless, IMO.
Iowa at least had the class to shake hands after the game. Seemed like Zook was the only guy who went on the field to shake hands.
I guess that explains why Louis Delmas grabbed a cheerleaders megaphone and yelled...............

The Illini fans, all 10 of them were very cool and polite and gracious..but jeez...walking off the field without a handshake, I too was surprised by that.
It was classless. The 11 Illini players on the field at the end exchanged handshakes, but the majority of the squad on the sidelines just turned and trudged off the field. Very poor sportsmanship, IMO.
We were sitting by the tunnel. I let them know how classy they were.
Good for you, General. They should have heard it from the fans.
I wanted to meet the officiating staff at the tunnel and share some thoughts with them, but self-control got the better of me.

It explains why they can't win close games. They are classless. If I was Zook I would start all over next week. I would sit everyone and fire the coaches that went right to the lockerroom. You can't win football games year in and year out with players like that. Just ask Gary Darnell.
When I was watching, it looked like Hiller even had to run down Zook for a handshake.
