This week Ball St added two RBs we had offered Eric Williams and Alford from the same Cincy school as Scherrer. The rich get richer and the poor?

Kind of like the old saying, you need to have money to make money.

I haven't gotten engaged in MAC recruiting yet, but we've had a good thread on the main board about the recruiting practices of CMU, WMU, BSU, UB, etc.

Here is the link. There were some EXCELLENT posts detailing the recruiting of various MAC schools.

Each of those programs I listed above have VERY successfully recruited FL, Ga, TX, etc. and they are reaping the benefits. (the various posts at least one per mentioned school are well worth reading).
EMU Steve,

Most of the EMU recruiting has been focused on GA, IL, IND, OH, MI and some east coast states. Genyk has recruited Florida each year he's been coach but its very quiet or non existent this year which is puzzling. He warmed up to Canada a place where EMU was successful in the past and again its non existent this year.

Cowboy, could you get us a list of early commits Genyk has? It could still be early for some to commit. especially during their Senior season....IMO unless the kids are 3, 4, or 5 star recruits, getting commitments from kids who havent even played their senior season yet is a bit risky. As for the RB recruiting, maybe the coaches feel comfortable with returners in Blevins, Priest, Welch and Sherrer, I see that Tyler Thomas earned defensive practice player of the week earlier in the season, not sure if he was moved to defense or will return to RB spot.
Eagle:

We have the Ben Davis te/de Mentor Ohio
We have Nick Olds a 6'3, 190 wr/dl Columbus East Indiana
Devon Davis a 6'1, 225-230 de Columbus East Indiana

I did not include the DC QB although all three recruiting services still show him a EMU verbal.

Scout has a soft verbal from Sidney Avery a 6'3, 215 lb from Southfield I would like to see that verbal more committed.

That's it, we are easily the last in terms of verbals in the MAC this year Warrior. CMU already has 18-19 including Benton from Brother Rice.
