hope so and hope BSU is one of them. Go Cards (Twirp, Twirp)
Only one team qualifies for a spot automatically. After that, for another non-BCS team to get in they must be selected for an at-large spot. It's certainly possible, but the people who select teams to play would have to see greater value in the non-BCS than the remaining top BCS teams.
Appreciate the support, BhamHoosier. Incidentally, it's "Chirp," Chirp," not "Twirp," "Twirp."
As much as I would like to see two non-BCS schools in the big paying bowls, it is almost a guarantee that BCS schools will be picked first. A school from the MAC can not sell enough tickets for one of the bowls to pass over a B12 or B10 team.

I think the pass over would be the ACC and the Big East.

I wish that was a possibility. The ACC and Big East are guaranteed spots regardless of their conferences not having deserving teams this season.
Ohio St, Mich St or Oregon St winning out kill 2 non-BCS schools making BCS games.

This is true.

One point I read in today's Wash. Post that I've NEVER seen previously in print is that the ACC HAS a contract with the Orange Bowl which means they go EVEN IF their best team is 'not qualified' per the BCS regulations.

That would make the Big East the only conference this year who could 'fail to qualify' a team based on the qualification criteria which has been tweated over time by the NCAA.
