Here is who teams ranked #20 and less are playing next week:
20. West Virginia (#30 Cincinnati)
21. California (@ #7 USC)
22. Georgia Tech (@ #19 North Carolina)
23. Maryland (@ Virginia Tech)
24. Florida State (Clemson)
25. Pittsburgh (#33 Louisville)
26. Northwestern (#12 Ohio State)
27. Tulsa (@ Houston)
28. Kansas (@ Nebraska)
29. Minnesota (Michigan)
30. Cincinnati (@ #20 West Virginia)
31. Oregon State (@ UCLA)
32. South Carolina (Arkansas)
33. Louisville (@ #25 Pittsburgh)
34. Air Force (Colorado State)
35. Arizona (@ Washington State)
36. Central Michigan (@ Northern Ill)
37. South Florida (Rutgers)
There are 5 teams in the lower half of the rankings that are not favored going into next week ahead of Ball State so they should make up some ground.
CMU probably will not be able to make up enough ground to be ranked in the top 25 prior to the Ball State game on 11/19. It would be nice to see a matchup of two ranked teams on national TV.
The winner of CMU-BSU will probably win the MACC.
